Review by Scott Keys

I have a tendency to tell everyone how much I enjoy something, and Doc Unknown is one of those books that I’ll keep harping on about. There is absolutely no excuse for skipping this book. None whatsoever! For goodness’ sake, it’s only 99¢! If you can’t spare a dollar, how can you afford to read comics in this day an age?!?

Doc Unknown #4 is the final chapter of “Book One” (with more Books coming, I hope!), but Rangel & Cody do a great job of keeping the pulpy action and adventure at full throttle! Seriously folks, this book has it all! Action, adventure, intrigue, the supernatural, the super-human, and even NINJAS! If I can’t sell you on any of that, does Nazis trying to bring back the lost city of Atlantis by using human sacrifice pique your interest any? How about a golem? A prison break? Any of this sound good to you? It was great for me, and I can’t wait for the Boss Snake one-shot that was hinted at here and is up on Kickstarter now.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Doc Unknown is the perfect pulp-action book out today! You just get sucked into Doc’s world, and I for one, am longing for more of it already!
