Drunk on Comics Podcast 095: What’s Next Kevin
We had a great time recording the podcast this week. Especially with Kevin leading the way into all of the segments. And we have some great reviews in Off the Shelf. Derek started with Ghost Rider #1, even though Tony couldn’t get over the semantics that he drives, not rides a car. Tony talked about home, clothes that are size child and adult, and home in Silver Surfer #1. He also talked about the great characters in New Avengers #16 that are completely Justice League knock-offs. Kevin also had a 2-fer review with both Aquaman #29 and Survive #1. And even though cap has his funeral, maybe Thor will be remembered at some point in the next book.
Indie Turnpike was well worth the long wait for Sandman: Overture #2. The art, story, and everything are on par with none.
Booze and a Book was the great Short’s Soft Parade with Gaurdians of the Galaxy #13
We were able to remember to pick a Best on Tap, with Savage Wolverine #16
