Drunk on Comics Podcast 100: Our 100th Episode
We at D.O.C. can’t believe that we have made it this far. From what started as a simple idea of just recording our conversations and maybe having someone listen has turned into one of the internet’s greatest podcasts around. Before we get into today’s show, we want to say thank you to all who have made this possible!
Everyone was able to make it in today, especially after an epic night for Kevin’s bachelor party the previous night. Kevin kicked it off with a review of Forever Evil Aftermath: Batman vs Bane. We then got to hear about some cool things in Wolverine’s past with Origin II #5. Tony had to share the tragic news that his lost Uncle Grant McKay is now dead in Black Science #6, while Derek talked about the dirty south in Southern Bastards #1.
Bar Back was The Leg, and you can find the link to the Kickstarter project through the link right here.
Indie Turnpike was the Vertigo Quarterly CMYK with way to many people to name, but a book that needs to be picked up.
Booze and a Book was Hacktivist #4 paired with a Tschunk.
We also had some fun reminiscing of some times past, as well as having Tony explain where he might have messed up on numbering and dates, (He’s not good with numbers.) only to find out after recording that he was correct the first time, and his apology was not needed.
Finally we would like to thank everyone who has helped us get to our 100th episode. It is through a lot of time and effort as well as the many people who have supported us that keep us going. Thank you to everyone who listens, and we hope you will stick around for the next 100 episodes.
