Drunk on Comics Podcast 142: Jiggy Jar Jar Doo
This week we had some fun watching some Walking Dead bad lip dubs before the show, along with the bad lip dub music video “Carl Poppa” which really had us cracking up. We also got super excited for all the new books revolving around the Secret Wars event coming from Marvel. But first, we had some books to review. Tony talked about Avengers #42, and the back up plans some of the heroes are taking when the last incursion takes place, along with some of what is going on in the Marvel universe leading up to the event. Derek discussed Descender #1 and human uprising against the innocent dish-washing robots and much more within the scope of the book.
Indie Turnpike was Big Man Plans #1, which is the first in a four part “mini” series
Booze and a Book had the pairing of Enigma from Tapistry Brewing paired with Transformers #38, because not only are the Transformers fighting over the Enigma of Combination, but the beer and the book are pretty damn good.
