Drunk on Comics Podcast 222: Boners
After being gone for 3 weeks, Tony comes back to the studio to record this weeks podcast with Linz. He starts off correcting the record with some of the stuff he missed while being gone. He was also happy that D.O.C. is in great hands when he is gone with the rest of the members being able to put out quality shows in his absence.
There is a video going around that shows a car turn into a transformer. It is something that has been done before, but not this life like. Tony was geeking out hardcore. He also was happy with some images of the new Power Rangers movie posters. He has already apologized that he doesn’t care if the movie is bad, which it will not be, but even if it somehow is, he is going to love it.
They talked a bit about whats in a name, and how She-Hulk is going to just be known as Hulk. That lead to other names that could be interchanged with one another and how She-Hulk never really needed the “She” in the title to begin with. They also talked a bit about a theory going around that involves Snoke, and who he might be in the Star Wars universe.
Linz reviewed The Wicked + The Divine: 1831 AD which gives more information on the Gods cycle. It raised some questions about what happens to the essence of the mortal body that is inhabited by the Gods. This one-shot really is a great book that enhances the overall story that Kieron Gillen has created.
