Drunk on Comics Podcast 238: The Most Readily Reliable Podcasters….. Not
Linz and Tony held down the studio this week on their own. These two are definitely the most reliable, dependable and good-looking of the DoC crew. Well….most of the time.
The pair decided to get the shit show of the year out of the way early. While they did not know what they were talking about half the time, they are still providing you with solid entertainment (at their own expense).
The beautiful Michigan weather prevented both of them from picking up their pull-lists this week, but they still managed to find enough stuff to chat about to kill a modest amount of your time. Topic of th week: Deadpool. Awards, new versus titles, Rob Liefeld news…the man in red and black never disappoints. There was some talk of the future of Princess Leia in the upcoming Star Wars movies. Linz brought up Alterna Comic’s decision to switch back to newsprint and sell at a lower price point, which lead to a discussion about how coloring effects a story.

Booze and Book this week was U.S. Avengers #1 paired with America (aka Budweiser). Linz also suggests pairing your favorite local brew and your state’s variant cover.
