Drunk on Comics Podcast 239: The Return of Sunday Tony
Hey fellow drunkeneers, its time again for another dose of drunken ramblings from your favorite hosts Tony and Linz. As with many episodes in the past, recording on Sundays are not the best for Tony, as his brain is not in the best of functions. But they still had a lot to talk about.
They duo talked about the Oscars and Deadpool’s influence therein. They also spoke of Carrie Fisher and Disney’s plans to not CGI her into future installments. They discussed what role Peter Dinklage may have in Avengers: Infinity War and Cumberbatch’s heavy schedule.
Garbage Pail kids are coming back in a 6 page story that will set you back $20. They were against it, but then thought it must be a good story. Lucky for the group, they get free digital books, so they might not need to fork over as much to see it for themselves. And speaking of digital books, they had a sneak peek at this weeks Power Rangers book. Tony may have had his mind changed a bit about his excitement of the Power Rangers movie, but is stoked about the comic book series and the direction with the new ranger.
Booze and a Book was the incredible pairing of Justice League/Power Rangers #1 with a Beer Fashioned.
