Drunk on Comics Podcast 244: Zomething Completely Different

We are back… in the main studio.  And we had a blast putting this weeks episode together.  And Tony also was able to speak about his fabulous vacation again, but it was informative as far as theme parks and Marvel are concerned.  But on to some other things discussed today.

Linz reviewed the graphic novel, Patience, by Daniel Clowes.   It is a massive book (about the size of a text book) with an art style not seen in many current comic books.  With a scenario of time-travel, it has Tony’s interests peaked.  But as Linz said, it gets weird but good with all the crazy time travel lore within.

The group also talked about what “The Last Jedi” means, and the idea for an unlimited ticket to see the movies.   Some things from Marvel include pre-ordering Logan tickets and you could gt a free limited poster, Tom Holland set his Avengers script on fire for all the right reasons, and another Thor and Darryl adventure has been released.  They also discussed some netflix shows which are underwhelming in episode numbers, and they brought up toys again, which really is a sore subject still with the Power Rangers line.

Booze and a Book was the pairing of WildStorm #1 and with a Queen of Tarts from Odd Side Ales.
