Drunk on Comics Podcast 261: The Same Thing We Do Every Night
Josh, Linz and Tony are back from a week off. Tony was able to catch up on some old books which he had been saving for a rainy day. Linz and Josh also took the time off to enjoy the wonders of the real world with trips to a Neil Diamond concert. But now they are back to do what they love the most, making fun of each other when they pretend to talk about their nerd knowledge.
Linz reviewed Grrl Scouts: Magic Socks. Tony had thought it was about actual girl scouts who came upon an old lady who was a witch. It is nowhere close to that. In fact, this more adult comic is not really suitable for a younger girl audience.
Tony did 2 quick reviews of Wacky Raceland and Cable #1. Wacky Raceland has been out for a while, but he was able to read the 6 issue mini series, and was sad that it was only 6 issues. It was so good. Cable on the other hand had left him wanting. He hopes the next issue has more focus.
