Drunk on Comics Podcast 270: Anothaw Weally Gwate Weekly Podcast of Dwinks and Wediculous Weviews

That title is a mouth-full…..So much so that the thought of writing this review of this weeks episode in the voice of Elmer Fudd is an undertaking that couldn’t be done justice (trust us, we started and deleted multiple times a start to this with his speech mannerisms and its just hard)   But besides that, Linz brought her son Conner into the studio talk a bit of comics with Tony.

Tony reviewed Batman/Elmer Fudd #1, which partly explains the title this week.  It was one of the best crossovers in the series so far.   Even though Tony dislikes Noir, it was so well put together that it felt like a regular day in the life of Batman.  Conner reviewed Iron Fist #5.  Although he is new to reviewing, we will give it an OK for now.  Linz reviewed the long on hiatus of Sabrina #7.   The world that has been created, and the art style is so unique that both Linz and Tony wish it would be on a more regular schedule.

Not a whole lot of news this week.   Some numbers for Spider-Man opening and also some talk about what is holding up the Spawn movie.   The biggest surprise was another Batman animated movie from DC.  Tony is so happy he is finally getting an animated movie made.  Heavy Sarcasm on that statement.

Booze and a Book was The Wicked + Divine #29 paired with an Alley Cat cocktail.
