Drunk on Comics Podcast 297: At Least I’m Not Derek Old

Tony got older this week…which lead to some realizations about about his life.  But don’t worry, we do not get overly insightful (mainly Tony just realizes that he is old).

Comic reviews have become a larger part of the show recently, and this week was no exception (another way you know Tony is getting old…he is home often enough to actually read comics for the show).  Tony reviewed three comics this week: Batman #38 (with a brief synapses of #37), Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles #1, and Transformers Vs The Visionaries #1. All were good, Tom King is killing it on Batman, Visionaries join the Hasbro IDW universe, and Snagglepuss nails the character in a way we never knew we wanted.

Linz reviewed (prepare to be suprised) Phoenix Resurrection: The Return Of Jean Grey #2.  Nothing has been revealed…Linz is getting impatient (don’t judge her, she just really loves Jean).

News this week includes post credit comic scenes for Wolvie, Sabrina casting news, a heart warming store concerning Black Panther, and more!

Booze and a Book this week was Rocko’s Modern Life #2 (out on January 10th from BOOM! Studios) paired with Saugatuk Brewing Company’s Neapolitan Milk Stout.
