Drunk on Comics podcast 075: Everybody’s Dying
We have some great books to talk about this week, as well as a few tidbits we found from around the net. First, Derek talked about Nightcralwer’s return to the land of the living in Amazing X-men #1. Tony has some good holiday shopping advice by getting your kids one of the IDW transformers figures with included comic book. But while reviewing the Transformers Dark Cybertron chapter 1, he felt the need to come up with adjectives for the title. The tagline “Balls to the Walls Action” could somewhat be included in his Testicular Transformers line. Lastly, Kevin talked Robocop Last Stand #4 which is much better than the 3rd movie.
Indie Turnpike was Absolution Rubicon #5 (of 5) by Avatar Press
Booze and a Book had Trillium #4 paired with a Lunchbox shot
We have a Bar Back for you this week. What we found is a great Concealable Entertainment Flask by Ink Whiskey. Basically, its an old NES cartridge made into a flask. For different pledge amounts you can pick between the 5 different parody logos of old games. Since we like to drink and read comics, we now have another excuse to play games while drinking (which we also do as well). Check out their kickstarter page by following the link here.
We each at separate times came up with our Best on Tap with Spawn #237 by Todd McFarlane
