Tony and Derek again dig through the comics this week to find some gold to review on this episode of the podcast.
Derek talked about Thor #6 which has gone from infuriating him regarding the identity of the new Thor, to Thor-oughly pleasing him (see what we did there?).
Tony reviewed Bill and Ted’s Most Triumphant Return #1. The story takes place directly after the last movie, which is unbelievable that it came out way back in 1991. And having 2 stories of the eccentric cast, makes this book most excellent.
Indie Turnpike was the debut of Southern Cross #1 from Image Comics, which is a masterpiece of sequential storytelling.
Booze and a Book had a pairing of Spawn Resurrection #1 paired with a Guinness, because there had to be something paired with Guinness this St Patrick’s day week, and what better pairing than the “Irishman” Al Simmons coming back to the pages of Spawn.
