Drunk on Comics Podcast 147: The Grill Masters
Derek and Tony are happy its springtime, because its time to fire up the grill. And although there really is about zero talk about grills on this weeks podcast, but at least they try. Well, lets get some reviews started. First up, Derek talked about Descender #2, which has him wanting to know more about the Tim-bot (as well as go to Tim Hortons for some Tim-bits) Tony had to review the last issue of Deadpool #45 (where in this issue Deadpool dies….oops spoiler) But he definitely doesn’t go out alone. With an all star crew writing and drawing multiple stories in this huge issue, its worth the price to pick up.
Indie Turnpike was Savior #1
Booze and a Book was a pairing of Samuel Adams Utopias paired with any of the Convergence titles, because with a price tag of over $150, if you can afford all the convergence titles, you can definitely afford this beer.
Best on Tap this week was the cool Miami Vice looking Ant-Man #4 by Mark Brooks.
