Drunk on Comics Podcast 148: Jughead’s Terrific Time Traveling Tumor This week was a surprise for the guys with a random appearance from Matt in the studio. Tony and Derek have been holding down the fort most weeks, but it’s always great having another perspective.
Matt starts with a diverse review of March: Book One, written by Congressman John Lewis. It is a great historical book in comic book form.
Derek dove into the blood soaked and cute (yes, it’s both) Archie vs Predator #1 of 4.
Tony was excited that the Afterlife series is being published once more. He reviewed Sabrina #2, which is a dark and gritty story which perfectly steers the series in a great direction.
Indie Turnpike was RunLoveKill #1 from Image Comics. This new miniseries is the perfect combination of art and prose, mixed with a bit of a nostalgic feeling.
Booze and a book, going with the mostly Archie theme of the show, was Betty and Veronica #275 paired with any IPA you have in your fridge.
