Drunk on Comics Podcast 190: Tony & Terminators

Tony, Linz, and Derek were hit by a terrible late winter snow storm this week. It was great having a snowday, or show up late for work due to the forces of nature. With this having affect on the group, it definitely gave Tony more tangents than usually. Besides him again giving his thoughts on Deadpool again, the group again talked about what the rated R means for superheroes, as well as the announcement of a cut for Batman Vs. Superman.

The goup the took a most excellent adventure in the comic Bill and Ted Go To Hell #1 from BOOM! Studios. There has never been a book which evoked voices in the groups heads as much as this book did while reading it. The characters are straight to form from their movie counterparts. Everything from their mannerisms, to catch phrases are all well worked out with the cast getting back together to solve the kidnapping of Death from his home. What is even more one of the biggest WTF moments in comic books is when it is revealed who the antagonist really is.

Tony also went on to explain a singularity theorem and how to not be on the Terminator’s chopping block by buying a lotto ticket. The group also got on a tangent for some of the worst superheroes. There are just too many that the goup will be returning to this idea later.

Booze and a Book was the pairing of Bad Ass Lager paired with X-Men: The Worst X-man Ever #1.
