Drunk on Comics Podcast 198: Don’t Sue Us
The whole gang is back together to record another great episode of the podcast. Derek, Linz, Tony and Adam all froze their butts off in the recording studio because the weather is always in flux, and Tony doesn’t know how to work his thermostat. But they got into some great discussions this week that involve many side conversations that hopefully make sense.
To start things off, they start to talk about some of the segments that they always wanted to do which lead to a Punisher standoff. This evolved into the new series being picked up by Netflix as well as some shows the group would like to see be made. They also talked about the worst trailer ever on Youtube. Hint, it’s about a team that busts ghosts.
Captain America: Civil War is doing great internationally, and some of the reasons it was released overseas first. They then talked about the “controversy” of casting for the Ancient One in the upcoming Dr. Strange movie. And while they were talking about movies, the found the most interesting of articles about Paramount being sued for not having enough product placement in the latest Transformers movie.
