Review by Scott Keys

As Spidey’s gauntlet continues, what could possibly go wrong? Who is pulling the strings?

Kindt, Rudy, and Staples have definitely been putting Spidey through the paces, but things get truly serious when we see Kraven! Kraven is enjoying his place in this adventure, even using it as an opportunity to go on another “hunt,” with Spidey and some of his foes as the prey. Even during the hunt, Spidey is still being attacked by the likes of the Rhino & the Lizard, but shockingly finds aid from the Owl. But what does the Owl get for helping Spidey? A bullet in the shoulder while trying to fly himself and Spidey to safety. Thanks a lot, Kraven! It takes everything in Spidey’s power (and the last bit of web fluid) to escape Kraven’s clutches, but this is far from over!

I know I’m sounding like a broken record when it comes to this book, but Marvel Knights: Spider-Man #4 (as well as the entire series) is nothing short of a work of art! With brilliant writing by Kindt, and beautiful panels and colors by Rudy and Staples, you don’t get much better than this book! This book (or at least another run by these creators) needs to continue passed this mini-series! I’m serious! One of the finest works I’ve read!
