Review by Scott Keys

I know that I’ve been singing the praises of Quantum and Woody since issue one (which is totally warranted, I assure you!), but if you want to give this book a shot and haven’t yet, this issue is a great jumping on point! One of the best things about this book is the consistently hilarious writing. Asmus knows how to do comedy, and he does it extremely well. His writing, this issue, gets a helping hand from his artistic collaborator, Tom Fowler.

The art, as usual, is perfect! It shows just how talented the art team is when they can make you feel emotional about a goat. Fowler’s strong point is giving each character their own unique personality and faces, something not every artist can do adequately. The real gem of this book is the amazing reveal on the last page! During the story, we find the Goat and our titular heroes (when they were young) cross paths at a convention and, let’s just say there was a mishap with the mind transference device their dad was working on. I want you guys to read this book, so I won’t tell you the big reveal, but suffice to say, it’s a game changer!

Quantum and Woody #0, as with every issue since the relaunch, has been hilariously brilliant! The writing is spot on (as usual), the line art by Fowler was fantastic, and the colors by Passalaqua & Milla simply superb. Such an awesome comic book to behold! I really don’t know what else I can say to convince you to read this book, other than sending the Goat to your house to use his laser vision to write you messages in your yard. Save yourself the lawn damage, and go pick up this book!
