Review by Scott Keys

In the shadow of Infinity, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #3 takes a look at the street-level heroes of the newly re-formed Mighty Avengers during the invasion. With the acerbic Doc Ock still posing as Peter Parker, what could possibly go wrong? I mean, he’s SUPERIOR to Peter, right?

Rodi not only gives us the ground level view of the Infinity crossover, also showcasing Otto’s “superior” intellect (and wit) in taking down the intergalactic baddies, but he also creates a new character. I loved his balance of action and character building, and especially liked the fact that the newly created “Fulmina” wants to blast the Marvel Universe back to the middle ages (her area of expertise, in case you didn’t read it). Speaking of action, Del Mundo’s action sequences and expressive character moments are perfect for this story! His fluid lines and composition made this a very visually stimulating read as well.

After that last page, I can’t wait til next issue to see what this team has in store, because this issue really “shocked” me and has me wanting more!
