Review by Scott Keys

If you are at all familiar with Valiant Comics of old, the you know what Unity means to that universe. This is the third “Unity” in Valiant history, one for each incarnation. How will this one fare? To me, it looks like it will live up pretty well!

We start off with Aric decimating a Russian battalion in defense of his new “homeland.” Then Harada and Gilad plot how they will take Aric out before the Russians start WWIII! They will utilize Harada’s pet project… UNITY! A new team of super-powered soldiers under Harada’s orders. Ninjak is on the ground trying to take out Aric’s ship while Unity comes from above. The only problem is that Aric still destroys the new team without much effort at all, and discovers Ninjak as well. This sends Harada and Gilad to seek out Livewire as their last chance.

Kindt does a great job of handling the large cast and keeping all of the pieces moving in concert. And Braithwaite’s art is phenomenal! He has such a great style that is a perfect fit for such a wide-scope book such as this! You might want to catch up on the Valiant universe, because this book is gonna be a massive game-changer!
