Drunk on Comics Podcast 308: It’s Very Star Warsian
Connor and Josh join Linz in the brand new Studio D this week while Tony is up exploring the UP.
After what can only be described as idle chatter, Linz reviews Lucy Dreaming #1 (w. Max Bemis, a. Michael Dialynas) from BOOM! Studios. This book, about an apathetic teenage girl who finds herself in a dream state that is not just a dream, is a great read. The character is written well (even a little bit irritating, as most teenagers can be) and the art plays in to the dream aspect of the story quite well. If you are a fan of stories like The NeverEnding Story or a Wrinkle In Time, but wanted your teenagers more modern and your setting less fantasy and more Sci-Fi, then you will definitely want to give this book a read.
In news these week there was a little bit of Black Panther, a little bit of Deadpool, a little bit of Venom and a bunch more random chatter. You know, the Drunk on Comics way.
