Drunk on Comics Podcast 326: Tonight We Bat-Riot
Well it finally happened. And it was exactly how the group thought it would happen. Not only that, it was already spoiled by a major news outlet. And to top matters, it has left a sour tasted in Tony’s love for Batman that he is dropping it from his pull list. It is the wedding of the century that didn’t happen in Batman #50.
Linz had a differing opinion of Tony in some ways. She did not like that it didn’t happen, but still thought the book was a love letter between Catwoman and Batman. Tony however went off more on the lackluster way it came about as well as many WTF moments that didn’t make sense. Is this what will always happen when change might actually make a comic book stronger? You will have to listen to this episode to hear more on that subject.
