With all the crazy capers that Batman has had, who would believe he is 80! In celebration of this milestone, as well as Detective Comics issue #1000, the group talks a bit of the mentioned comic and how good it is. Most milestone issues have a lot of one-shots that don’t feel all that unique, but this issue has so much going for it.
The group also explored a few other comics, like Dial H for Hero and Flash. It was all around a DC sort of day in the studio for book reviews. Marvel was brought up, but it mostly revolved around Avengers: Endgame. Sure there were some talk about comics coming from the House of Ideas, but (pun intended) they talked about the Thanus Theory a whole lot more.
