Hey! You could now listen to a DoC podcast everyday for a full year! Did we realize that when we recorded the podcast? You bet your sweet ass we didn’t!
This week Linz and Tony look forward to their favorite con of the year, Motor City Comic Con. Taking place May 17th-19th at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, this con is always one to look forward to. This year is the con’s 30th year, and they are really making it a party. The organizers of the convention work tirelessly every year to make the show one of the best in the country, this year they really pushed themselves to the limit.
Artist’s Alley and the Comic Guests provide a range of styles, suitable for all con-goers. There are some definitely some must-sees this year (in our humble opinions), including Sean Murphy (swoon), Carl Jones, Esad Ribic, Katie Cook, Joe Prado, and Jim Lee (omg!). If a wealth of magnificently talent artists are not enough to convince you, the celebrity guest list is equally as impressive. Are you a Whovian? Do you love the Walking Dead? Sons of Anarchy? Star Trek? WWE? This con has something for you and many other fandoms. David Tennant, John Cleese, Ryan Hurst, & Felicia Day are all slated to appear and many, many more.
