Drunk on Comics Podcast 372: Red Badge of Courage
Anthony joined Linz, Charles, and Tony in the studio this week. Having a full studio is always a great time, and it is always nice to have more people to gang up on Tony with.
The podcast started off with talking about the Dark Phoenix movie and how terribly unimpressive the movie was. We, being experts on the subject, have come to this decision without wasting our time on the movie. So believe us or not, but definitely watch at your own risk.
There are a ton of reviews this week. Linz and Tony briefly discussed DCeased #2 (DC, W: Tom Taylor A: Trevor Hairsine, Stefano Guadiano) before Linz gotten into a review of the Man-Eaters series(Image, W: Chelsea Cain A: Kate Niemczyk) . Linz has definitely got to give the boys credit, they were pretty on board with chatting about a topic that most people (male and female) find uncomfortable.
Charles reviewed the newest TMNT/Batman cross-over in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #2 (IDW, W: James TynionIV A: Freddie Williams II) and Tony got deep in to Doomsday Clock #10 (DC, W: Geoff Johns A: Gary Frank) and Walking Dead #192 (Image, W: Robert Kirkman A: Stefano Gaudiano, Cliff Rathburn).
Booze and Book this week was Savage Avengers #2 paired with whiskey (but you choose your own adventure on what type of whiskey). Or take a chance on that estrogen filled tap water.
