Drunk on Comics Podcast 390: They Still Want That Milk
Tony is back from Germany (so we get to hear aaaaallllllll about that) and Charles found his way back to the studio, so it was good ol’ DoC threesome this week. Not the sexy kind, so don’t get excited.
Charles reviewed Absolute Carnage: Miles Morales #3 (Marvel, w. Saladin Ahmed, a. Federico Vicentini). This event is still going strong! Linz reviewed Joker: Year of the Villain #1 (DC, w. John Carpenter & Anthony Burch, a. Philip Tan), a departure from the usual Year of the Villain stories, but a really, really good tale. She also reviewed The Batman’s Grave #1 (DC, w. Warren Ellis, a. Bryan Hitch), a interesting story with a crazy weird ending that has Linz wondering where this book will go.
Booze and a Book this week was Tracht Man #1 paired with a lager Tony got from Augustiner-Brau during Oktoberfest.
