Linz, Tony, and Charles are back this week with another super exciting episode, in which Linz and Charles review comics and Tony completely forgets what this podcast is about. He tries to pass the buck to Linz…something about news….but we all know if anyone is to blame for anything, it’s Tony.
Charles reviewed Batman/Superman #3 (DC, w.Joshua Williamson, a.David Marquez & Alejandro Sanchez). This book was Charles’ first foray in to the Batman Who Laughs, and boy is his cherry popped. Linz reviewed Batman: Curse of the White Knight 1-4 (DC, w/a. Sean Murphy). So much to unpack in this story, but this book is definitely a worthy followup to White Knight. That Sean Murphy….he’ll rip your heart out. Linz also talked, just a little, about Marauders #1 (Marvel, w.Gerry Duggan, a.Matteo Lolli). Another great entry in the new Hickman X-verse.
Booze and a Book this week was King Thor #2 paired with Sunlight Cream Ale from Sun King Brewery.
