It’s that time of year again for families to get together and air their grievances, or watch the Star Wars Holiday Special. (which we associate with making your family suffer) Linz joined Tony to talk about the holidays, review some books, and talk about some news in the industry.
There were not as many holiday books as past years, so they talked about Klaus The Life & Times of Joe Christmas. Once again, it is a great installment in the series. Tony wishes it didn’t come out only during the Christmas season, but is glad it still has a following. Tony also brought up DC’s New Year’s Evil, which had plenty of short stories that were all great.
The duo then talked about Doomsday Clock #12, and how the comic and the HBO series differed. They are both great in their own right, but the HBO series just seemed to be a better squeal. The comic is still amazing thought, and sets up many questions that hopefully they will explore in the future.
News was mostly dominated with Star Wars, and the group is doing an episode on that coming soon, so they didn’t have a whole lot to cover.
