In what shoud have been a Super Villain Team-Up, the insanity that is March Madness found one of the most powerful beings in the universe pitted against one of the most devious minds in the world.
Realistically, these two never would have crossed paths if it wasn’t for their shared secret love of gelato. When Cobra Commander stepped in front of Darkseid in line at the local frozen sweet shop, the rivalry was born.
Cobra Commander knew instantly that he was out matched, so before Darkseid could incinerate him with his Omega Beam, he offered a plan to partner up and strip all of humanity of their free will. Since this has been Darkseid’s life long goal, he instantly agreed, on the condition that Cobra Commander pick up the tab for the gelato.
Luckily for the Commander, he happened to have a small amount of Radion in his possession – the one element known to cause harm to the New God.
When Darkseid wasn’t looking, Cobra Commander put an ample dose of Radion sprinkles on his adversary’s tasty treat, thus double crossing and defeating Darkseid by giving him a galactic case of indigestion.
