Drunk on Comics Podcast 179: Nerd Dating Sites
Adam, Tony, and Linz were getting in deep of their nerdiness this week. After realizing Tony needs a women in his life, they started to explore the type of dating sites that may help him out. And although that had them talking on a tangent for a bit, they finally got on track to review Dark Knight 3.
While explaining to Adam the story so far in the previous installments, he realized why there was a mini comic included within DK3. And it was mini for the pun it was intended for with Atom having insight into this world that Frank Miller has created. Matt also randomly dropped by for a bit to give his insights of the book, and to keep us abreast of his favorite part of the book.
This also lead to a discussion of the new Batman Vs Superman trailer and what we all thought of it. They also discussed the many Civil Wars Marvel has had along with the first trailer for that movie as well. Although it has to somehow deal with registration, they all liked that it didn’t reveal too much of the story. But what else is there to know when superheroes are fighting each other.
They talked about getting a degree in Comic Books, and how with that knowledge along with home brewing, we would be kings of Drunk on Comics. Also check out the newest book from Brian K. Vaughan, Barrier #1, at his site PanelSyndicate. We will be reviewing this book next week.
