Drunk on Comics Special Edition: Jem and The Holograms
With the holidays, the team wasn’t able to get together to bring the normal podcast. However, Linz and Tony were able to escape family functions to subjugate themselves to the torture that was Jem and The Holograms. The movie is very well reviewed by everyone in the industry on exactly how not to make a movie of a beloved property. Both were lucky they had a few beers in them in order to laugh off the absurdity that was the story line.
So if you were even a bit curious about this movie, you should listen to this episode. If you were almost going to see this movie, listen to this first, so as to not make that mistake. If you actually were a masochist and watched it of your own free will, maybe this review will give you a little more insight. And if you have watched it, we hope you at least stayed until the end of the credits for the only scene that was worth the time spent at the theatre
