Drunk on Comics Podcast 330: The O.G. H.P.
Summer is winding down, but the drunken duo are still rocking. Tony and Linz had a great recording session this week with even Linz pulling a Tonyism. They got in depth with some comic books that Tony was more than happy about to discuss.
Tony started off with reviewing Fantastic Four #1. Although there was some negativity because the family is not back together, but it was brought up in the pages that is going to happen next issue. There were many more touching moments that more than made up for it though, such as The Thing finally proposing. He is very curios how the Marvel Two in One book will wrap up to get back to this point in the newest Fantastic Four book.
Linz then started to review The Sandman Universe #1. She did a good job, but was not nearly as educated on this universe as Tony is. He talked briefly about the Endless, the new Dream compared to the old one, as well as continuity within this mythos. Linz thoroughly enjoyed the book and will be picking up the stories in this print as well as wants to delve into the back issues to understand why this is one of the best comic series ever put out.
Booze and a Book was Dinosaucers #1 paired with a Tooth & Claw from Off Color Brewing.
