Drunk on Comics Podcast 339: I Before We, Except After Eddie
Linz and Tony are back again with more of their weekly drunken musings on all things nerdy. Tony was actually a little more drunk than usual, which always adds…well…it adds something.
This week Tony reviewed Venom #7 (Marvel; w. Danny Coates, a. Iban Coello). He is very excited about the direction of this book, and this issue only furthered his excitement. The connection between Eddie and the symbiote is in question, but a character shows up to clear up some questions, and give Tony a piece of Venom knowledge that he can use to pick up girls(?) later.
Linz reviewed X-men Black Mojo #1 (Marvel; w. Scott Aukerman, a. Nick Bradshaw/André Lima Araújo). This book was completely crazy and totally off character, but such a fun read! Definitely pick this up to see the softer side of our favorite spineless showman.
Booze and a Book this week was Cursed Comics Cavalcade #1 paired with spice apple cider (the secret spice is rum!).
