Drunk on Comics Podcast 348: Aqua-Meh
Linz and Tony start off the last podcast of the year with a look back on some of their favorite books, movies, artists and everything involved in the comic book industry. There was a lot of great stuff that came out this past year that it’s hard to quantify it all, but the duo tried to be objective and say the top things that came to their head about what they loved and why they continue to do this podcast.
Linz then talked about what has been going on with the X-men in the extermination story arc. It has been crazy that the young X-men have been around for five years now, and of course all things need to go back the way they were. She also talked about how good Batman: Damned #2 was, and that the book is still great even after the Batwang incident.
Booze and a Book this week was the pairing of Smirnoff Iced Cake paired with Fantastic Four #5, which saw an actual wedding in the comic book world (Tony is still pissed over the Batman fiasco.)
