The crew survived the Polar Vortex that plummeted snow across their great state and had many sitting at home with snow days from work. And because of this, there wasn’t much news to recall over the past week. But the group dug deep (mainly Tony) to get some things into the discussion.

But first they had some books to review. Tony discussed two books that had many themed stories this week. The first was Grimm Universe Presents: 2019, which sets up some new stories from Zenescope. The books are always drawn to the top degree and the stories are always great with their feminine leads. He also reviewed Mysteries of Love in Space #1 from Dc, which had many stories following love and heartache. In particular, he loved the Bizarro story, like he always does. Or did he hate it, as Bizarro would say.

Then Linz and Tony reviewed Age of X-Man: Alpha, which blew their minds with what is going on. It is also going to blow their wallets with the tie-ins to this mutant event. The easiest way to explain it is the polar opposite of Age of Apocalypse. This is a world where everyone is a mutant, but the how and whys are still a mystery.

Booze and a Book was the pairing of Fight Club 3 with Absinthe because its a hell of a trip
