Once again, the winter weather hits West Michigan with another storm. The cold weather is getting a little old, and the group is looking forward to the spring, and some of the new developments coming out in the industry. So while the group is hunkered down to record, they had a great week of books to review.
There were a bunch of them involving Wolverine and The Hulk, both on the same pages as well as having some of their own adventures. They talked about these characters in The Return of Wolverine #5, Wolverine: Infinity Watch #1, Avengers: No Road Home #1 and #2 as well as Hulkverines #1. But that is not all they discussed.
Charles brought up Venom #11, and he is now wanting to go back to issue #1 to see what all is going on with the changes that have been made to both the symbiote and Eddie. Sharkey the Bounty Hunter #1 was a great read. Linz felt the book was one part Lobo, and one part Firefly Universe. It was both funny in some ways, but also had a lot of heart within the pages. Linz also brought up High Level #1, which reminded the gang of some other stories involving an upper echelon of people living above everyone else. Literally!
Booze and a Book was the pairing of The Amazing Nightcrawler #1 paired with a Black Tie drink.
