What if? this issue was published today?

One of my favorite comic books series is What If?  Well, if you have listed to podcast #2 or podcast #3 then you know about my wet dream with alternate reality stories.  So I was going into my way-back machine the other day and was reading What If? #34 where I ran across this little gem. Now, this was a goofy issue that did not take itself seriously at all. However, after I stopped laughing my ass off, I realized that this probably wouldn’t make the cut these days. May have even turn into one of those cool recall comics like Wolverine #131.
