Drunk on Comics Podcast 207: We’re So Indie, We’re Mainstream
Derek and Tony are here to bring you on a magical adventure of mystery and suspense with this weeks podcast. And although none of that is true, it is still a great episode this week. Derek got into some more Rebirth talk, mainly about Aquaman #1. It was something he really didn’t think he was going to like, but it got his attention and made him want more undersea adventures.
Tony reviewed The Unbelievable Gwenpool #3. Well he actually got into the story so far with the other issues filling in to who Gwen Poole is. It was a book that Tony didn’t think he was going to want to read after reading too many Deadpool books, but after seeing a panel with Dr Strange, it intrigued him enough to pick up the series.
The boys also talked about some Star Wars and Star Trek news. One to do with casting, and the other to do with fan made films. They also realized they might get sued from AMC if they make predictions of who got killed by Negan on The Walking Dead.
Booze and a Book was Civil War: Choosing Sides #1 paired with a Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout in honor of Tony’s favorite superhero team Damage Control
